What are the odds of your child being accepted into our School Choice Program?

Each year, the Pittsgrove Township School District receives more applications than there are seats available.  For the 2018-2019 school year, the State of New Jersey has once again capped our School Choice enrollment.  Please review our District School Choice Profile for information about this year's acceptance procedures.

Interested in attending Pittsgrove Township Schools?

The Pittsgrove Township School District offers an outstanding educational and social experience for children. Highly-qualified teachers, dynamic classroom technology and a robust extra-curricular program make Pittsgrove an excellent choice for the education of children.

Please review the information that is posted on this website and on the NJ Department of Education website at:  For example, there are limitations on students from other districts who can participate in the School Choice Program.

Applicants must:

a) live within 20 miles of Pittsgrove

b) be chosen by lottery if the amount of interested students exceeds the amount of openings that we offer.  Please see our District School Choice Profile for additional information.

In addition, please note that there are two distinct application timelines for students who currently attend public or private school.  After reviewing all of the School Choice information, the next step to take in the application process is to contact your home district by December 1st with a “Notice of Intent to Participate” form.

Public and private school parents who are interested in School Choice should apply to Pittsgrove by December 1, 2017 using the “Student Application" form.

Those steps begin the process of participating in School Choice.  We will contact applicants with further information after we receive all of the required paperwork by December 1st.

Please contact me with any questions about the School Choice Program, or if you would like to arrange for a tour of our schools.
