PUBLIC NOTICE
RESOLUTION authorizing the appointment of Broker of Record, Broker of Record for Common Remitter, Consulting Engineers, Environmental Consultants, and School Physician.
WHEREAS, the local Public Contracts Law (NJSA 40A:11.1 et seq.) requires that the Resolution authorizing the award of contracts for “Professional Services” or “Extraordinary Unspecified Services” without competitive bids must be publicly advertised.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Education of the Township of Pittsgrove in the County of Salem, New Jersey, is hereby appointing the following to serve in the designated positions for a one-year term commencing July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
• EUS Common Remitter Services - OMNI Group - not to exceed $50,000
• Consulting Engineers - Fralinger Engineering, P.A. - not to exceed $200,000
• Environmental Consultant Services - Sweetwater Environmental Management - not to exceed $40,000
• Regulatory Services - Epic Environmental Services - not to exceed $50,000
• Bond Counsel - Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. - not to exceed $50,000
• Special Counsel – Gorman, D’Anella & Morlok - not to exceed $40,000
• General Counsel - Capehart Scatchard - not to exceed $100,000
• Auditor of Record - Nightlinger, Colavita, Volpa, P.A. - not to exceed $50,000
• Architect of Record - Garrison Architects, Inc. - not to exceed $1,000,000
• EUS Broker – Conner Strong & Buckelow – 2% of medical, 1% of Rx, $6,000 dental
• EUS Health Benefits – Horizon BCBS – Not to exceed $5,500,000
• EUS Prescription – Benecard – Not to exceed $2,500,000
• Nursing Services - Bayada Home Health Care, Inc. - not to exceed $200,000
• School Physician - Dr. David Koerner - not to exceed $30,000
• Dental Insurance - Horizon BCBS of New Jersey - not to exceed $250,000
These appointments and contracts are made without competitive bidding and public advertising.
The foregoing Resolution was approved this 20th day of May 2026 by the following vote:
Moved by Ms. Hughes and seconded by Ms. Taylor that the Board of Education approve, by Resolution, to authorize awarding contracts for “professional services” or “extraordinary unspecified services” for a one-year term, commencing July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
